After receiving a new i-pod to replace the two I had stolen last year,  I found that Apple would not allow me to use it until I upgraded to iTunes 10 which I could not do until I upgraded my operating system to Snow Leopard.   However, if I had Windows Vista - it would have worked just fine - the reward for being a Mac user.    I wish I hadn't taken that first bite.
